Kids playing outside before Avery headed off to school. We did her hair in curly pig tails so she could play the role of Little Miss Muffet at school. More on that bellow.
Gotta love T's yellow rain boots!
Thomas and Brynn out planting something in the pots. Thomas asked me if we could built a Jack and the bean stock plant when we are in our new house. No, but I can't wait to have my own garden with little bean stocks!! I also love Brynnley's morning hair! Those curls get so crazy...love em!
Avery memorized the nursery rhythm "Little Miss Muffet" and did a wonderful job. She looked pretty cute too! It was fun to meet her class mates and there were quite a few parents that wanted to meet Avery as they said their kids talk about her all the time. It was fun to meet her little friends that she talks about too.
The older kids are really into playing math and reading games online. Brynnley LOVES to watch them play and they even try to give her a turn. She is pretty content just watching though. This day was pretty cute. I put Brynnley's hair in piggy's and she went downstairs snuggled up to Avery. Avery thought she looked so cute and kept kissing and hugging her. These two are so cute together. Avery told me today that she cannot wait until she and Brynn can have big conversations and make necklaces together.
Saturday before Mom and Dad headed out for the night on a date, we took the kids to a new park and had a great time. All the kids loved watching the goslings follow their Mom and Dad. Our kids could all live outside and it was the perfect day to be out for hours. We are living it up before the HEAT and humidity come and melt us away.
And to end the week, here's Brynnley putting on my shoes. This girl is always getting into my shoes and loves to walk around in them.
Thomas wanted me to take a picture of him too.
Whew!!! All caught up with just a few of the happenings with the Gardner Clan.......for now. Kids are done with school this week. We are heading to Colorado Friday so Avery is getting out a few days early. I am ready to have the kids home. So much going on in the next few months, and I just like having them around.

Spy Mom......
The kids were playing outside the other day and I was inside when I heard the guitar and singing coming from outside the window.
Thomas was strum-min to the guitar. I quickly got my camera and headed out to get a closer look. I was laughing as I hide behind the fence so they wouldn't see me. I put the lens through the fence post and took some shots and then I laughed and enjoyed the song they were making up about Moms(I think they were creating something for Mother's Day).
Here they are with their friends in their little neighborhood band.
You can see part of the fence(the blurred part of the pic) in this picture but all in all, I was a pretty good spy. I got away with the pics without creating a stir with the musicians. I only wish I could have gone in closer to record their song. It was pretty inspired! They took turns being the lead guitarist.
I actually got a post in this month. We had a great super busy week. Busy with LOT"S going on and mostly a ton of decisions to make. More to come on that. We had a great time with my Mom. She watched the kids so Eric and I could go house hunting. She even stayed a few days extra and Eric let us have a girls night out to shop, eat, talk, and laugh. I love being with my Mom. She is the best!
We went out to eat Friday night because Mom(me) needed some Olive Garden and Dad never hesitates to go along with my outings that I have planned for the weekend. Thomas got to try dinosaur meat too. He ate some of Eric's steak and said, "am I eating dinosaur meat?" He still loves his dinosaurs but I guess it's not that strong of a love if he thinks it's cool to eat them.
